What is it that we pay for our public school taxes? Property taxes and other fees cover this to afford our kids to attend public school at no extra cost, right? However, what if you are sending your kid to a private school, is there a tax credit? I do believe you still have to pay the taxes as if you were sending your kid to public school. Many parents are opting to send their kids to private schools, christian schools and/or home school--where is the tax credit for those whom opt to do that? As bad as the public schools have been getting many parents want their children to learn good ethics, morals and values in life-so, they choose not to send them to public school. Public school has lost its basic fundamental function, education. Some schools still allow corporal punishment and we need to look at thier education accomplishments vs. the schools that don't. Maybe Obama needs to revamp our public school system.
